Day 1 1JUAN SANTAMARIA AIRPORT- SAN JOSÉ
In the afternoon, settling into our accommodation and welcome, our local team is in charge.

Day 2 SCARTAGO - SAN GERARDO DE DOTA
After breakfast, you will pick up the rented 4x4 vehicle and start your trip. To get to Dota, you will pass through the city of Cartago where you can visit Irazu Volcano National Park and the Virgen De Los Angeles (Black Virgin) basilica. Tapanti National Park is also on the way. It has trails, a translucent river, different family-owned agricultural properties and the opportunity to fish for trout for your dinner...

Day 3 SAN ISIDRO DEL GENERAL - DOMINICAL
You will have the morning free near Los Quetzales National Park (Los Santos Reserve) to enjoy the optional trails outside of those established. This mountainous region will delight nature enthusiasts, bird watchers in search of the famous Quetzal, and those who love tranquillity. Gathering on the Costa Rican Pacific coast through San Isidro de General. Accommodation in your hotel near Dominical, a small seaside resort loved by surfers, which is found along the brown-sand beach at the mouth of Baru River.

Day 4 DOMINICAL
During this day, there will be many possible activities. Manuel Antonio National Park is located up a little more and offers the possibility to swim in its crystal water bay and stroll through the heart of the rainforest between sloths, monkeys and squirrels. You can also enjoy Ballena Marine Park: take an excursion by boat to observe humpback whales, dolphins, turtles and/or manta rays; enjoy the beach, go horseback riding, hike through the trails in the Baru Wildlife National Reserve, or go kayaking or paddle boarding...

Day 5 TARCOLES- RINCON DE LA VIEJA
Departure towards Guanacaste Province, land of the savannah, with proud and colorful cowboys. We recommend that you take a trip in the morning because the sun sets early and the highways are not well lit. On the way, and if time allows, it is possible to observe crocodiles in Tarcoles River, and you can also visit Carara National Park, which, although it is very small (52 km2), if offers one of the largest biodiversities in the country. Accommodation is a lodge in Rincon de la Vieja.

Day 6 RINCON DE LA VIEJA
You will explore the Rincon de la Vieja area according to your likes. It is a volcanic massif composed of 9 craters that offers a varied landscape and an important source of energy (hydroelectric and geothermal). You can see white-face monkeys, spider monkeys, anteaters, sloths and more than 300 species of birds. The park, created in 1973, has a very high concentration of orchids, the local flower, the ''Purple Guaria'' (Guarianthe Skinneri). You can visit the diverse trails in the park, one of which leads to a beautiful waterfall with blue water (weather permitting, you can swim), and another that allows you to admire different volcanic phenomenons (fumaroles, sulphurous lakes...); you can zipline in the canyon or go on a beautiful horseback ride.

Day 7 LIBERIA - LA FORTUNA
Departure towards La Fortuna region, the region of the majestic Arenal Volcano (1635 meters). On the way, we suggest making a stop in Macadamia Café where you can have lunch or a drink (coffee or fruit juice), accompanied by a pastry. You will not be disappointed by the food or the view. On the bridge, just before arriving to La Fortuna, is the entrance to the hanging bridges. At the end of the afternoon, why not relax in one of the hot springs in the area? You can also have dinner.

Day 8 SAN MIGUEL - SARAPIQUI
In the morning, we recommend that you visit Arenal Volcano National Park and its primary rainforest. Departure towards Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui whose forests are a refuge for tapirs, sloths, coatis and various monkeys. Accommodation in the lodge. At night, you can choose to go on a night hike for around $25/person.

Day 9 PAVONA - TORTUGUERO
In the morning, you will go to Tortuguero on the Caribbean coast. In La Pavona (Caño Blanco, depending on the weather), you will board a motorboat to sail through the tropical flora and fauna to arrive to the lodge. You will have a free moment to explore the small village of Tortuguero, a strip of land between sea and river.
Transportation: 3-4 hours by bus and 1-2 hours by boat.

Day 10 PARC NATIONAL TORTUGUERO : NAVIGATION SUR LES CANAUX
In the morning, we are going to explore Tortuguero's channels by boat. This large aquatic national park consists of channels and lagoons in the middle of an impressive jungle. Through this unique and extraordinary network of rivers and swamps, you will discover crocodiles, toucans, turtles, howler monkeys, parrots, sloths, iguanas, and multicolored birds... In the afternoon, you can enjoy exploring the park's trail on your own.
NOTE: in the season (from the end of July until the beginning of November), there is the opportunity to assist with turtle nesting at night (Option to pay directly on site 25 USD).Transportation: No

Day 11 LA PAVONA - SIQUIRRES – LIMON – CAHUITA
In the morning, you will sail to the landing stage to get back in your vehicle before continuing to the southern Caribbean coast. On the way, you can stop in Limon, the capital of Limon Province. Moin Harbor, which is very lively, frequently hosts cruise lines; it is also here that bananas are packaged to go to Europe. You can have lunch in Siquirres with a family. Accommodation in your hotel near Cahuita, a very colorful village between the sea and mountains, which owes its charm to its inhabitants who live in colorful, wooden houses, some of which are perched on stilts.

Day 12 CAHUITA AND THE CARIBBEAN COAST.
Discover the region: let yourself be taken by laziness and go for a swim in the sea; if you would like to taste the cocoa from the indigenous in Talamana (day win Bribri 75 USD/person) or learn to cook a dish with coconut milk from the Afro-Caribbean culture; visit the trails in Cahuita National Park or in the Gandoca-Manzanillo natural reserve to observe local wildlife, such as white-face monkeys, toucans, and sloths. Take a boat ride to explore the marine life.

Day 13 SAN JOSÉ
During the day, return to San Jose and settle into your hotel.

Day 14 SAN JOSÉ - JUAN SANTAMARIA AIRPORT
Depending on the hour of your transfer to the airport (arrive to the airport 3 hours before your flight), you can choose to visit the city: Gold Museum, Jade Museum, National Museum, Central Market, Artisan alley...
Transportation: 30 minutes-1 hour by bus.

- Cancellation received more than 30 days prior to the departure date: a sum of €50 per person will be retained
- Cancellation received 30 to 21 days before the departure date: your deposit, 30% of the total trip price will be retained
- Cancellation received 20 to 14 days before the departure date: 50% of the total trip price will be retained
- Cancellation received 13 to 7 days before the departure date: 75% of the total trip price will be retained
- Cancellation received less than 7 days before the departure date: 100% of the total trip price will be retained
- Fixed airfares: if your airline ticket was issued in advance, often done to avoid significant surcharges, you will be charged 100% of any non-refundable fees if you wish to change or cancel your flight plan.
- Fixed in-country costs: early charges for firm bookings will be charged if you cancel or modify your trip.
- Insurance costs: if you have taken out comprehensive or cancellation insurance, the cost of insurance is due and cannot be refunded.
